WHERE'S THE GREEN TEA?
Thursday, January 26, 2012 / 10:18 PM During the afternoon A, my colleague got hungry and wanted to have something to munch on and she asked me if I want anything from the bowling alley. But I was not hungry, but offered to go down with her to level 2 as I needed to walk a bit. Legs were hurting from sitting down in my seat for a long time. She found that the snacks at the bowling alley were a tad bit pricey and we journeyed across the road to the food store. This was the funny part, as we circled the aisles and finally chose what she wanted to munch on. She made her way to drink section while I was checking out the lollies as I just maybe wanted to get some. When I heard her being herself saying "WHERE'S THE GREEN TEA?" out loud. I was like oh god this is so embarrassing, tried to go to her asap. But the sweet uncle went to her aide and found her Polka Green Tea. She was so happy and surprised that her Green Tea cost her 90cents! I was pretty much teasing her with her "WHERE'S THE GREEN TEA? WHERE'S THE GREEN TEA?" on the way back to the office and even in the office in between multi-tasking things I was working on. Labels: life |

Met up with a high school friend, Analiese. I have not seen her for a long time, since high school which was 8 years ago. She's in Singapore to find work and maybe stay here for good.. i'm just kidding.
We had Ippudo Ramen for dinner, had to wait a bit as there was a long queue. But it was worth the wait, had so much fun catching up and all. Analiese if you're reading this haha I hope I didn't scare you with my talkative self. As you realize I was a lot quieter last time.

I taught her how to take the bus, as we were heading in the same direction home, since she lives really close by. Was great fun, glad she got off the right stop and got home safely. Gonna have more fun in the days to come as more people come to visit us in sunny Singapore!

Tuesday, January 17, 2012 / 11:52 PM Just now while watching TV and munching down on dinner, I was talking to my brother told him of my idea to open my own blogshop. So that I wouldn't have to keep on buying clothes from other people, he said that is a great idea. But first my goal is to sell my brand new clothes that I can't fit into since i'm growing fatter from sitting in front of the computer at my workplace. I've got a few pre-loved items that I want to sell. Will continue to clear my room tomorrow as Day 2 aka rest day, went to do up my toe nails for Chinese New Year and did some damage to my bank account. Bought a package from them, plus other stuff which includes body trimming (which I so need), facial (confirm need this too.. too many stubborn pimples to get rid off) and massages. Had a discount for them as I bought the nail package, cheap considering the usual price is way higher. |
Day 1: Cleaning of Room
Monday, January 16, 2012 / 9:28 PM I for some odd reason motivated myself to start clearing my room/ floor/ table/ clothes/ shelf in a short period of time, hopefully just in time for the Lunar New Year. It's Day 1 technically Night 1 but Day 1 sounds so much better. I started clearing my floor now just have to wear for other to be clean and cleared to see where I can put the stuff which I have packed on the floor. Can you believe it I can see most of my floor now! I'm impressed with myself ((: |
Never dreamt of..
/ 12:17 AM eating lamb in my whole entire life. What made me not eat lamb started when I was in Pri 4, when my dad took us to New Zealand for a holiday. We stayed at a farm, my sister and I help feed the baby lambs and then the moment of truth. They were having lamb for dinner, scarred for life. Since then I have not touched and never ever had lamb. But baby's dad changed everything, was going to go home before dinner was cooked but he told me to stay. How can I say No.. and then I tried the lamb they made. It taste like beef but not quite, it was not bad but i'm still skeptical about eating it. Labels: life |

I would purchase something that might not be what i'll usually wear, like something unique just for this years CNY and I found it under Shanghai Rose Look 2 (Featured Item 2). I like this look because I'm a big fan of pink. I love lace, the shoes looks great even though I'm not a big fan of heels. I've been looking around in shops for some gladiator shoes but couldn't find any that I like the bandage shoes. What do they have in the bundle? Bad advice
Wednesday, January 11, 2012 / 1:13 AM Omg! got some bad advice from the doctor on how to keep my wound dry while I shower. He said to put a plastic bag over it = =. It was a lame idea.. I had gotten those clear small plastic bag cut them down in length to match my thumb. Wrapped it around tightly and last but not least stuck sticky tape around it, but still water manages to get inside. FAIL! Then today I decided that I should try with Glad Wrap, which I did with 2 layers one after the other. But without sticky tape this time, as it was super tight when I when in.. it was loose and filled with water when I came out. My bright idea that my brother was laughing about did not work. Have some nice ideas from sister and friends on facebook, might try one of those.. Heading down to Parkway to collect my contacts will either stop by Watsons or Guardian on my way home later. The furry bites back.
Monday, January 9, 2012 / 11:00 PM Was told yesterday that I need to wake my bro up in the morning, as he took some meds as he was not feeling well. Asked him how do I wake him up as the poopies are in the room. He said to just come in which I did I was about to get ready for work.. Until Hershey decided to jump Twirl, who did not go down without a fight. I had a hard time catching Hershey as she was running around my brother and my bro had his hands full with Twirl.. = = Then naughty Nugget thought he could jump Oreo, which he did that's when I tired to pick up Nugget and Oreo bit me. So I let go of Nugget and then saw the damage.. My right thumb looked like the skin tore off but it didn't.. then it decided to bleed and become painful. Thought I handled the pain quite well, but apparently after I told the doc what happened this morning he said I went into shock as I could not hear myself and was feeling oozy! I got given antibiotics (white disgusting gross syrup) and antibiotics cream for the wound. Labels: life |

Bonding
Sunday, January 8, 2012 / 1:10 AM I had some bonding time with my brother, spent the whole day with him and the poopies. Sis-in-law is in Hong Kong for something she left on Friday. Didn't know she left on Friday if not would have had dinner with bro, unfortunately I had bought dinner already. But we had late lunch at Mr Teh Tarik Cartel @ The Playground, had my usual Maggie Goreng with Ice Teh Tarik, bro had Mee Goreng with Egg and Hot Teh Tarik. It was super sunny and then it rained, thank god for the umbrella we were under. Came home, played with the poopies, rested and then we went for dinner. Bro had asked me during lunch to think of what I wanted to eat for dinner. Well thought of it at home and answered him with PIZZA! Haven't had pizza in the longest time I could remember. Well I can't remember that means that it was a long time ago. Went to Tanjong Katong - Dominos, ate there as we didn't want poopies to disturb us while we eat. Wow satisfied 2 cravings in one day, i'm amazed.. Didn't stay over at Baby's today, didn't want my brother to be lonely. I think that's the difference between my bro and I, I remembered long ago a relative of ours was staying at a chalet and asked my bro if he wanted to stay over. Not sure how old I was but I suppose I was very young, because I didn't want him to stay so I cried. In the end, bro didn't stay over and we went home. But that's not the point.. Sad i'll be alone at home during Chinese New Year, alone at home at night. I hope nothing goes wrong while I am alone during Chinese New Year for 2 days. Labels: life |

Friday, January 6, 2012 / 12:55 AM I went to the optometrist again this time to get my eyes checked out and find out why my left eye hates me. Well it did go up quite a bit which doesn't fail to surprise me as I knew that it was going to be this way, hence the lazy eye. I cannot believe how expensive contact lenses can be. I seriously mean ouch, big hole in my pocket. 8 boxes = 1 year and they're bi weekly. Optometrist says that i'm stressing my eyes out, how great is that.. Can only wear my contacts for about 8-10hours, 4-5 days a week. Oh FML! Anyways paid $428.. And what is up with people taking other people's hard earn money from their debit cards/ bank accounts.. it's annoying I can't ibank and pay my M1 bill.. it's sickening now I have to go to a AXS machine to do it. Such a waste of time seriously. |

Tuesday, January 3, 2012 / 9:17 PM I hate you! You're the worst month to start of the new year.. How suay can I get, had to do Media Monitoring on New Years Eve, New Years Day and Day after New Years. Had to drag myself to grab my phone, open my eyes and read 4 online news site. Now I have to do for tomorrow as the whole PR team will not be in the office. FML! Then during Chinese New Year my dear brother decided to go on holiday, just to escape it and i'm alone, I mean seriously. My parents and younger sister are in Australia and my bro + sis-in-law are going to Saba. He refuses to go on the weekend instead! I'm left all alone in Singapore with 2 poopies to look after. Which two if you're asking, the naughty one and the crazy one again! Great combo they don't give me trouble but still I wanna go visiting now I have to worry about them. Just thinking about being all alone this CNY is making me very lonely, thinking everyone has family with them except for me! It's really unfair! Dragon year sucks! Sorry baby but it does.. I cannot really go visiting, which is lame cause I want to.. Bro said he's letting me have the car but HELLO! I haven't driven in so bloody long. I have no bloody confidence driving on Singapore roads! |

Monday, January 2, 2012 / 11:40 PM 31.12.11 - New Year's Eve Woke up with great difficulty to do some media monitoring for work, then off to have Dim Sum with baby at Sunshine Plaza as we didn't want to be late to treat some Liu Sha Bao. After a filling brunch we headed towards Plaza Singapura. We booked a movie - MI: Ghost Protocol at 8.30pm, thought it might be boring as I have never seen any MIs before and didn't want to start. But baby wanted to see it, so we watched it with his friend and his gf. We then made our way by bus to Orchard, ION. Wanted to check out Jeggings at Uni-Glo, but unfortunately they didn't have the colour in my size at this particular outlet. The person that was serving me was so nice to help me call the 313 outlet even though the store was packed with people. I suppose it's her job but even then (: she made my day. After spending sometime at ION with friends, we went separate ways for the day. We went to 313 Uni-Glo finally bought my Jeggings with alterations and baby got himself 2 pairs of jeans and a shirt (: Which I helped picked.. After that we hopped on a train home. Spent the next few hours lazing/sleeping until it was dinner, had dinner at baby's house before rushing down to meet his friends for the movie. I'll have a review about Ghost Protocol soon.. But it was good! Then we rushed down to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands for the countdown/fireworks. We were standing in the best spot ever I reckon!
