Review: nivea happy shave [SPONSORED]
Sunday, October 12, 2014 / 9:25 PM Scared to put your hands in the air? Why? Our under arms usually tends to get darker, bumpy, rough when we shave regularly. This sometimes can cause skin irritation and damage skin. Well here are some of the benefits you can benefit from NIVEA Happy Shave. It's here to help support skin regeneration and reduce irritation after shaving - with Pro-Vitamin B5 & Vitamin C. Receive 48 hour anti-perspirant protection and has gentle NIVEA® care. Skin tolerance dermatologically proven. Happy Shave does not have alcohol, colourants or preservatives. Some facts on Pro-Vitamin B5
95% Pure Vitamin C - to penetrate deeply to restore and repair
I like NIVEA Happy Shave that unlike the rest of the deodorants I have tried through out my life, this I can say that it's very comforting. It leaves a pleasant scent, that others does not have when after long hours. What's best is that it has Pro-Vitamin B5 and Vitamin C to help replenish my skin, keeps it hydrated and moist after shaving, oh and coming from me who hates to moisturise anything I actually like this! Can't wait to get whiter underarms after 2 weeks. I agreed that this is skincare for my underarms. Definitely recommend friends to get it.

Review: Biore Micellar Cleansing Water [SPONSORED]
Monday, September 29, 2014 / 10:58 AM I've always like Biore products, I've been using them since my teenage days. Whether it was facial washes or makeup remover wipes.
I hardly use makeup on a daily basis, I prefer my bare skin when I head out of the house. But when I do put it on, it would be simple: Concealer, BB Cream, Matte Foundation, Eye Liner (Brown, Pencil), Blusher. [picture above]
Recently Biore has come out with a new product called 'Biore Micellar Cleansing Water' - $18.90 (300ml). Biore Micellar Cleansing Water, effectively removes makeup without clogging pores and there isn't a need to wash your face after. It's said to be able to lift off more makeup in 1 wipe and it's also light and refreshing. For those who have skin problems, don't worry it's clinically proven, gentle, alcohol free, frangrance free, oil free, colorant free, allergy and opthalmologist tested and non-comedogenic. Watery Micellar Technology - Dissolves & lifts off more traces of makeup, including mascara and eyeliner.
Natural Mineral Water from Northern Japanese Alps
Gentle on the skin
Anti-Bacterial FormulaHelps prevent pimples and breakouts, and minimises pores for a clearer, more refined complexion
Enriched Collagen & White Tea Extract
Leaves skin brighter, softer and more supple
Biore Micellar Cleansing Water makes my skin feels clean, refreshed and has no sticky after feel. There isn't a need to rinse my face after usage, but for myself I would prefer to just wash my face after.. it's just my preference. I was quite amazed at how moist my cotton pad was after 2 pumps of the cleansing water. It was such a nice experience to have to know that I didn't have to keep pumping on the same cotton pad.
If you do not have a samplestore.com account, register for one and get yourself a sample of the Biore Micellar Cleansing Water. If not you can purchase this Biore product at all pharmacies, hypermarkets, supermarkets and major departmental stores.
Thank you Biore and samplestore for this opportunity to review this product! (: Labels: beauty, Biore, review, samplestore.sg, sponsored |

Review: TSUBAKI Hair Oil [Sponsored]
Thursday, August 28, 2014 / 12:12 PM Got this new hair product to try out, It's called TSUBAKI Hair Oil from Shiseido.
60ml - $26.90
Finest Premium Hair Oil, Richly Formulated with Selected Camellia Oil
Specially selected camellia seeds
Traditional harvesting method
Meticulous oil pressing method
Carefully selected for freshness
*According to my hair situation*
*Recommended to those who have soft and fine hair*
*Recommended to those who have thick and voluminous hair*
Apply an appropriate amount to wet hair and dry it with a hair dryer. Then, spread a small amount on your palms and apply on bottom half of the hair to reduce the voulme.
---------------
I was sceptical at first thinking how can a hair product not be oily after usage, I felt so amazed when I tried it. It didn't leave any oily, sticky feeling when being applied, but left hair feeling smooth, nourished and there's definitely volume and shine.
Nourishing my hair is a great deal to me as I have coloured, permed and re-bonded my hair numerous times. As they leave my hair dry, sometimes brittle and tends to break leaving split ends. I do in fact go to the salon to get my hair treated, but that's if I've got the time to go down. Using this product helps me to save time and treat my hair in the comfort of my home, without having to go out!
Using TSUBAKI Hair Oil is a great way to boost my hair strength. I would definitely recommend this to my friends as it's not expensive, plus it smells great!
Thank you samplestore.sg and TSUBAKI for giving me the opportunity to review this hair product (:
Want to prevent flat hair or create volume, nourishment and shine, what are you waiting for..

Daisy Dream by Marc Jacob
Friday, August 22, 2014 / 11:26 AM So I came across this road show when I was at VivoCity yesterday during lunch and they were letting customers smell their new limited edition Daisy Dream perfume by Marc Jacob. I thought it was a pleasant smell so I placed in my wallet. After work I went back to the road show to find out how much it cost as I didn't have the time to look at it during lunch. I heard from the sales lady that today is the first day of the launch and that they're the only Sephora carrying it. Other Sephora outlets do not have it and it's exclusive to the VivoCity outlet. They are only carrying 100 boxes of each and they have 3 different sizes. I actually wanted to get the 50ml but I think the 100ml is more worth it. For a 100ml, it cost $148 and a 50ml cost $115. Plus if you feel 50ml is all you need during the road show you're entitled to most of the free gift. This is my first Marc Jacobs perfume, the bottle is so cute too! Maybe i'm moving to a more floral & fruity perfume. Instead of a sweet smelling perfume like my Anna Sui - Lavie De Boheme 75ml. I felt so happy after I bought it (: Bf thought I was silly for telling him that! Here's what I got ~> • 4ml Daisy Dream Perfume Bottle • Daisy Dream Pouch • Daisy Dream Keychain • 4 x 1.2ml Daisy Dream Perfume Spray (got 2 extra ^^)
For those who are interested! Head down to VivoCity road show near Sephora. It's from 21 - 31 Aug 2014 (White Card Exclusive) Receive a complimentary 5 pc travel kit with every purchase of Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream 100ml. While stocks last!

Review: Bio-essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask [Sponsored]
Tuesday, August 19, 2014 / 12:42 PM
I finally got this on the weekend! Thank you samplestore.sg for this opportunity to try this beauty product. It's called Bio-essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask. Yup, It's a mouthful to say!
Left: The Packaging | Right: The Bottle
(Ohhhh I love the colour already!)
I had a peak inside the bottle too (:
So what's all this fuss about this Sleeping Beauty Mask?
It's their Hyrda Tri-Action - 3 x Hydration Power (Hydrates | Nourishes | Protects)
Yes, It is.. Bio Essence's Bio Aqua Crystal Technology, let's you see aqua droplets in 3 seconds!
Dull & Tired Skin | Oily Skin | Dry & Rough Skin | Enlarged Pores
Below shows how you can combat 4 common skin problems that most ladies face.
Well for me it would be the oil levels when it's hot and humid outside, even though I constantly wash my face with water wherever I go. Or when I travel to cold countries my skin gets dry.
Suitable for all skin types and daily usage
Step 1 : Massage gently till aqua droplets form
(I'm still amazed at how the aqua droplets are formed)
Step 2 : Gently pat till full absorbed into skin
Step 3 : Apply a thin layer over skin as a daily moisturiser or apply a thicker layer to replenish skin's moisture throughout the night as a sleeping mask (Don't worry it doesn't feel sticky)
I really like Bio-essence Hydra Tri-Action Aqua Droplet Sleeping Beauty Mask as it fulfils everything I'm looking for in a beauty mask product. The non-sticky/matte feeling when applied as a sleeping mask. It smells so good and it leaves my skin refreshed, replenished and smooth while I sleep.
'LIKE' Bio-essence Facebook Page & redeem free samples! There's a STREET SAMPLING on Saturday, 6 September 2014 from 2 - 6 pm outside of Mandarin Gallery to find out how hydrated your skin is and to get freebies and enjoy attractive discounts! If not you can get free samples here!

new Hydra Fresh from L'Oréal Paris
Wednesday, October 2, 2013 / 12:58 AM
Went to check out this new product by L'Oréal Paris.
NEW Hydra Fresh
With French Grape Seed Extract, take your skin beyond hydration
Get Watery Bouncy skin that glows
~ ~ ~
HYDRA FRESH
Hydrating Refreshing Creamy Form
Finally I can try something new as my current cleanser has just finished. This creamy facial form is combined with hydrating essence and essential minerals.
How to use: Just add water, gently lather into foam to thoroughly removes any dirt or makeup. After rinse/ wash it off.
HYDRA FRESH
Hydrating Softening Spa Water (French Vosges Spa Water)
Use as a toner to soften & hydrate skin immediately
This toner is a clear gel-like texture that transforms into a refreshing and watery texture. It's rich in minerals and strengthens your skin's moisture barrier for suppleness and radiance. I really need this seems like my skin is so dull and dry. The only time my face is soft is when I go for my facial ):
How to use: Simply pat onto skin after cleansing for softer, smoother skin
HYDRA FRESH
Hydration + Antiox Active Mask-in Lotion (French Grape Polyphenpls + Spa Water)
Infused with French Grape Seed Extract
3-in-1 Toner Essence Mask
This can be a toner or a mask, I will be using this as a mask, since the Softening Spa Water is already a toner. It has antioxidants that neutralises free radicals to protect our skin against the dulling and damaging effects. You can use this in 3 different ways.
How to use: 1/ Toner: Apply after cleansing, gently pat onto skin. 2/ Essence: Apply after toner and massage gently into skin. 3/ Mask: For a more intense treatment, apply a thicker layer onto skin to replenish moisture throughout the night as an overnight sleeping mask. OR I've read other reviews they use cotton pads dose in the mask-in lotion and place it on the face like an actual mask.
There's another step to this and that's Moisturiser, but unfortunately I didn't buy it as I'm not a fan of putting it on my face. Apparently from what I have read it seals in moisture and it helps to stimulate cell vitality so that skin stays bouncy.
How to use: Apply after Softening Spa Water or Mask-in Lotion for supple, hydrated skin that glows all day long.
~ ~ ~
Did I mention that it smells super nice from the Grape Seed Extract!
Secret to Bouncy Glowing Skin
Info from L'Oréal Paris
I'll try this out for a week or two to see if there's any change to my skin! (:

Destress
Thursday, March 22, 2012 / 10:56 PM Been stressed out at work.. maybe it's just me. Needed to find a way to relax and then I remembered that when I bought my Pedi package I bought a discounted facial. So after lunch I made an appointment for 7 - 7.30pm around there. When I got there a was little late for I had missed my bus as I left the office late. But it was all good.. It was so nice I feel much more refreshed I think I was lying down for a good 1.5 - 2 hours. Did I mention I was freezing even though I had a blanket on me. Conversing with my facialist was quite hard as I was trying to understand her as my mandarin is not that great. Managed to pick up words here and there.. in the end she got her colleague to help explain to me in English. My facialist she was doing the massage too it was super intense and painful, but after I feel super relax and less tense. So worth the pain! I sort of got reeled in to buy their package as it was a great deal get it for $388 now then to get it later on when I have to pay $1008. *faints* It's for 6 sessions.. I was thinking I really need it so I got it. My next appointment for my facial is in 2 weeks and hehe i'm going to be doing my pedicure next week.. it's been too long since my last visit. I've been told I need a home care for my face.. Cleanser, Toner, Serum, Moisturizer and Sun Block. There are 2 things in the list that I super hate and even though it's going to make my skin pretty.. I will not sure it, as I hate to put stuff on my face. Why do you think I seldom wear make up! Anyways can't wait to try the slimming, even though exercising is the key to my flat belly! *excitement* Labels: beauty |
