Slimming
Tuesday, May 29, 2012 / 10:47 PM Was seriously late for my slimming treatment at 7.30pm, cause of the Lady GaGa concert. I was majorly stuck in a massive jam from Harbourfront to Keppel. We did not move for half an hour, thought it would be smooth sailing but I was wrong. On a normal day without a jam and say my appointment is at 7.30pm and I leave work on time, I would most likely to reach the place at 7.15pm. Guess what time I arrived.. 7.50pm = = FML! Lady GaGa I hate you! I'm not sure if I regret doing the treatment or it is good. Why do I say that.. Felt like I was being tortured on the table/bed. I had the usual scrub, massage, hydro, mask and wrap. Massage was like screaming out OMG! KILL ME! That was how I felt.. The pain was like excruciating, now my stomach feels like i've done a lot of crunches, sit-ups and maybe some other stomach exercise. Not sure if it's going to bruise tomorrow. Can you believe it I asked the person, what is Cellulite? I'm a noob, I know.. Apparently my Cellulite was so tough that the more she massage the pain increased. Then she did some belly button thing, I forgot what it's called. It's to make me not want to snack. Which kinda worked, half way through dinner I didn't feel like eating. It made stop myself from buying Koi, which I was going to treat myself from being so pissed off while going there. She measured my stomach before she actually started the treatment and then messaged after.. I lost 7cm in total cause she measured 3 areas. But now i'm not sure to continue the treatment as it is over my budget. Sigh.. what a dilemma. |
Patch work
Thursday, May 24, 2012 / 2:06 AM Last Saturday I went to get my nails done at Cynful Nails. Since Baby was overseas I had to travel from my house which took me about a hour and a half to reach there. Lucky it was not raining if not I would have reached there even later then the time I had booked. Check out my lovely patch work nails.. It has everything I like in one single design! Lines, dots, black & vintage flowers ♥ my favourite! Labels: cynfulnails, nails |
Dots, Bows & Definitely Lace!
Thursday, May 10, 2012 / 1:54 AM Oh totally forgot to post about my current set of nails that I had done at Cynful Nails one month ago. Wanted to do something for D&D that was on 20 April 2012, Friday. Since the theme was "Blast from the past" decided to go pastel colours, polka dots, bows and definitely lace! I can't believe it's been a month and it looks like I just got them. Will be changing them next Saturday, am thinking of a new design, but nothing as of now, Hope I can think of something cute like the current one. Can't wait as I need my nails trimmed, as I had chipped the corner of my nail. Although I have gotten used to it. Just seeing it like that makes me want to cry. Lol.. no it's not that extreme I was only joking! Labels: cynfulnails, nails |
Yes, No, Maybe?
/ 1:43 AM With my constant complaining one might think that I either have Arthritis or Rheumatism. But no that's not the case, I have had this problem since primary school. The only time that I would get it would be when it's raining, or if the air con is too cold or there's a chilly wind. Why do I get this? I'm not sure why myself since I have taken full body check ups before and nothing comes up. Recently my right ankle has not been good to me, every night without fail it will start to ache. Man I sound like a seriously old woman! People have been telling me what happens when I grow old, wouldn't that be overkill? Thinking about it I would say YES! Not sure how i'm going to survive next time. Haha! Baby has to look after me.. Maybe.. Labels: aching |
Movie Review : 《靈聼》Ghost on Air
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 / 12:40 AM After work Baby and I we took a taxi to Shaw Center and we were early so we decided to grab dinner first. I wanted to eat Spicy Nuggets from McDonalds again (: After dinner we rushed back into Shaw Center and took the lift to level 13 where we had to register before entering the Preview Hall. But we were too late and most of the seats were taken up and all that was left were the first 2 rows. Yes we sat in the 2nd row from the front! About the movie: A Radio DJ driven to desperation, resorts to telling ghost stories on air, but what if the stories were all not fiction? “Ping Xiao, a two time “Most Popular DJ” award winner, is suddenly robbed of his successful morning show slot. Jealous at seeing a younger DJ taking his place, he forces himself to conquer painful recurring memories of his deceased girlfriend and tells the ghost stories that was written by her on air. With each painful memory he endures, he regains a small step to his superstardom. However, as he is about to claim his reward, he begins to realize that the stories were not works of fiction, and maybe it wasn’t him telling the stories all along…” My Opinion: To my utmost horror the film was super scary! Maybe to some people they might not think that it's scary but I was terrified. Basically hiding under my bf's hoodie. Baby thought otherwise, not spooked about it at all. To tell you the truth, I love ghost stories, whether your telling them to me or if i'm reading it off the internet. But i'll get spooked about it if it's night time or i'm alone in a room or with my dogs and they're staring off into thin air with nothing there. But not to the extend that i'd get a nightmare! If you love local films and ghost stories than why not watch 《靈聼》Ghost on Air. Support our local film director/makers, your killing two birds with one stone. The sound effects and the suspense will kill you.. especially when you're watching it from the 2nd row. I thought it was not bad for a local production, definitely scary on my end.
