Dreamworld
Tuesday, October 4, 2011 / 11:07 PM We went to Dreamworld on Thursday, the weather was not at all good, as it looked like it was about to rain. Which it did as we were waiting to get on our first ride. I did not bring my camera that day as I didn't want it to get wet! But my iPhone did the trick.. After the first ride, I was seriously wet and cold. Why oh why did it have to rain on that particular day! Apparently Dad said to us after when we got home that out of the whole September. Thursday is the only day that rained, was so sian after hearing it. Mum made my favourite for dinner, MEE SIAM.. Her Mee Siam is the best and cannot be compared to the ones you can buy outside! Unfortunately I was too hungry to take a picture of it haha.. Going to take baby to the other worlds when we go back to Brisbane the next time round! Sunshine Coast/ Market Square
/ 10:52 PM Before getting into the car, decided to snap some of mum's flowers which she grows in our garden, they're so pretty in red, orange and many more. We left the house early, as our journey was quite a long! We drove up north to Sunshine Coast, I really like it up there as there were a lot of nice things to see there. Dad had Curry Mum and I had Scones with Fruits, Cream and Jam Sister had Bangers and Mash Baby had this Steak Burger We were seated on the outside, even though it was chilly, there were this plastic screens protecting us from the wind. The view was nice, but it was blocked by the trees. After lunch we walked around to show baby the village as he has never been here before. Stopped a long the way to take some pretty shots of different kinds of flowers that were growing there. Not sure what are the names for all of them. But their colours were so nice that you could not not take photos. Walked into this shop called 'fudgyboombahs'! What do they sell? Fudges, lollies, chocolates and many other things (: As we were walking back to the car, my sister came across this water bowl, it was so cute that I took a picture of it. It looks just like a doggy! On the way to the Cuckoo clock shop, I turned around to take a quick snap at the shops in the village. Before turning back to snap baby and my sister in the distance (: Came across some lavenders.. so pretty! Sister took some pictures for us at the Clock shop, it's a small shop that sells many different kinds of clocks. From Grandfather clocks to Cuckoo clocks to normal clocks. Went down the mountains, to head to the Ginger factory, to look for Sparkling Honey Water. But they did not carry them, really disappointed as it's really yummy! After walked over to where parents were having coffee, then walked over next door to the Macadamia Nut Factory to get some nuts (: We bought the sample packets as it was worth it and went home to rest, before meeting up with Louise & Terence. We had dinner at Kadoya, I thought this Japanese place was new, until Louise said that there was one in the city at Elizabeth Arcade. And wham! I remembered I've eaten there before. We had a Crab Cream Croquette Baby had bento, while I had ramen. Terence had curry and Louise had udon, after we went to the dessert place next to Tea Etc. Here are some pictures of what we had (: Labels: australia, brisbane, food, friends |
Mount Tambourine
Sunday, October 2, 2011 / 11:52 PM Had a hot chocolate at Coffee Club with Family & Baby at Sunnybank Plaza. Just before the 1 hour journey from the shopping centre to Mt Tambourine. Three different faces getting painted by the man in a blue t-shirt! When we reached the little shopping village, most of the shops were still closed, unless they were closed on Tuesday. Just like the place we wanted to eat at.. closed on Mondays & Tuesdays. There's this shop that sells chocolate, loads of it! Bought some for the office and myself, baby didn't want anything. We walked around, before stopping to buy some fudge from Fudge Heaven. Took some random pictures before heading back to the car~ On the way down the mountains we stopped by to take some photos of the scenery.. as well as baby inside. The place that closes on Mondays & Tuesdays, George's didn't know they had one up on the mountains. Only know about the one at Sanctuary Cove and Gold Coast and apparently there's one in Brisbane City! We headed to the one at Sanctuary Cove as my sister wanted to go there.. {Sister with her piggy monster hunter shirt} After lunch we drove back home as my sister had a dental appointment at 2.45pm, baby and I we went to Garden City to walk around. Mum picked us up at 5pm to go home and rest before going out for dinner. We went to 7-8, really miss the food there.. taste the same (: {Baby & Sister} Dinner ended and dad suggested that we go to the Sunnybank Community and Sports Centre.. They have a lot of pokies machine, mum was on a winning streak as for me not so ): Labels: australia, brisbane, food |
